Anathea “Thea” Sibanda (born 20th October 1985) to Luna Sibanda and Ian Taylor, is a witch for hire and magic shop co-proprietor operating mainly in Las Vegas, Nevada. Her maternal family is somewhat famed, the Sibanda line having gone back decades, originating in Zimbabwe. Her father's is younger, Ian is a self-taught but powerful witch. While most of her income is from the shop, she gets a fair amount from her other services as well.

She was born and raised for most of her life in Miami, Florida, by her mother and father, who taught her most of what he knew of magic over the years. Despite having a job totally unrelated from it, magic was incredibly important for her father, and her mother's job was similar to her own. It was important to him that his daughter know the family traditions, if she wanted to. The rest of her knowledge was gained from her grandmother, known as Didi, who was a fairly promenant witch in her community in Las Vegas.

When she was 15 her father got a more lucrative job in Vegas, and so the family moved there. Thea was both happy and sad about it, happy to be living closer to her grandmother, sad to be away from her friends at her current shcool. Thea adored her grandmother, who doted on her and told her all kinds of fascinating stories about the witches she was decended from back through the centries.

By the age of 21 she was already fairly adept with her magic. During her teen years her grandmother had let her work at her shop, but as Didi grew older, she took on more of the responsibilities to aleviate her grandmother's stress. After meeting one of her father's friends who had made a living out of magic, Anathea was also interested in doing that herself.

Nowadays she specialises in protective spells, often from other Supernatural entities, of many different kinds, working out of her grandmother's store. However she offers a much wider range of services than that. She often works with other witches in the area, or further afield in cases where the problem is particularly obscure.

Anathea is a member of the Sibanda line.
