— Laelia about Joffrey's death
Laelia Baratheon is a recurring character in the first, second, third, fourth, fifth and sixth seasons. She is played by guest star Gabriella Wilde and debuts in the series premiere. Princess Laelia is the twin sister of Joffrey Baratheon and believed to be the oldest daughter of King Robert Baratheon and Queen Cersei Lannister. However, like her siblings, her real father is Jaime Lannister. Her younger brother, Tommen Baratheon, currently sits on the Iron Throne as the King of the Andals and the First Men.
She was present during her twin brother's wedding to Margaery Tyrell and when he was poisoned, she fled back to her chamber and stayed there for several days without speaking to someone.
After Joffrey's murder, Laelia was sent to Casterly Rock by her Queen Mother. This being where she currently resides, visiting King's Landing at times.
Laelia was very close with her sister, Myrcella, and the two spent much time together before her departure to Dorne.
"You can't believe they are twins, Joffrey is cruel and vicious while Laelia is kind and loving. If they weren't alike in their apperance no one would believe they even to be related."
─Eddard Stark on Joffrey and Laelia BaratheonLaelia is, unlike her cruel and vicious brother Joffrey, very kind and loving. She is very quiet and not very talkative, however, no one should take her quietness for weakness. The girl is brave and her wish is to one day become a Knight of the Kingsguard like her uncle/father Jaime Lannister much to her mother's discontent.
