Erika is Taryn's mother. They were very protective of each other, always helping each other out. Taryn is the result of her mother and Balthazar's affair. Taryn had found out about the truth and Erika had help her out for her powers that she had inherited by her father. One day, she was found and bound to the post for witchcraft. She pleaded for her mother, helping her, but she felt hurt and betrayed when Erika had turned her back on her. Since then Taryn loathe her mother for what she did to her.
